1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Cadence, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Cadence is a strategy execution platform for Shopify merchants that:

  • Automatically validates strategic actions using your Shopify store data
  • Enables automation of strategic tasks with your explicit approval
  • Tracks execution progress and provides insights

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Review all automated actions before approving them
  • Maintain the security of your Shopify admin credentials
  • Comply with Shopify's Terms of Service and applicable laws
  • Not misuse the service or attempt to access unauthorized data

4. Write Access and Automation

Cadence requests write access to your Shopify store to enable automation features. Key points:

  • All write operations require your explicit approval via our approval workflow
  • You can review a preview of any action before it executes
  • We never auto-execute write operations without your confirmation
  • You maintain full control and can reject any proposed action
  • You remain responsible for all actions approved through Cadence

5. Subscription and Billing

  • Trial: 5 free plays to test the service
  • Pro Plan: $299/month, billed via Shopify or Stripe
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime; no refunds for partial months
  • Price Changes: We'll notify you 30 days before any price increases

6. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for temporary disruptions or maintenance downtime.

7. Limitation of Liability

Cadence is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

  • Loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Actions you approve and execute through the platform
  • Third-party service disruptions (Shopify, Meta, etc.)
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment

You may terminate by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
